Just one of Alberta's zillion turquoise beauties, pristine alpine lakes like this one always captured my mind and heart while zipping across the Rockies in great big passenger jets. Now that I've traded in my airfare budget for paragliding equipment, I have the incredible privilege of giving them the attention they deserve and can even land right beside them when conditions allow.
